Complete Disassembly: We don’t "mask and spray." Every firearm is fully detail-stripped down to the smallest pin and spring. This ensures 100% coverage and prevents moving parts from being gummed up by the coating.

Degreasing and De-gassing: We submerge parts in specialized cleaners to remove all oils. We then "gas out" the metal in a specialized oven to ensure hidden oils don’t ruin the finish during the curing process.

Surface Preparation (Sandblasting): To achieve a mechanical bond, we use specific media (usually 100-grit garnet) to etch the surface of the metal. This is the most critical step for long-term durability.

Precision Application: Our certified applicators use HVLP spray equipment to apply the Cerakote at a precise thickness (usually between 0.5 to 1.0 mil). This ensures the coating is thick enough to protect but thin enough to not interfere with tight tolerances.

Oven Curing: Unlike air-dry paints, professional Cerakote is baked at specific temperatures to "link" the ceramic molecules, creating the legendary hardness the brand is known for.
